The Friendswood community is invited to kick off the 2026-27 school year at one of the district's favorite traditions, Meet the Mustangs 2026. This free community event brings together Friendswood High School student-athletes, families, local businesses, and Mustang fans for an evening filled with school spirit and community connection.

Join us on Saturday, August 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Henry Winston Stadium as we celebrate the student-athletes who will represent Friendswood ISD throughout the upcoming school year.

Guests will have the opportunity to:

• Meet Friendswood High School athletes

• Collect autographs and take photos with student-athletes

• Enjoy fun games and activities for all ages

• Browse local vendors

• Grab snacks and refreshments

• Enter raffle basket drawings

• Get their faces painted and show off their Mustang spirit

Whether you're a lifelong Mustang supporter, a new family to Friendswood ISD, or simply looking for a fun evening with the community, Meet the Mustangs offers something for everyone.
